MAPPING THE BODY: NEW FORMS AND PERSPECTIVES ON THE HUMAN FIGURE @ SELFPORTRAIT GALLERY -September 14th, 2009

This show, curated by Selby Drummond, featured the work of Bill Durgin, Venske + Spanle, Yeni Mao, Victoria Haven, Eric Shaw, Marty St. James, Olivia Malone, Chris McDonald, Matthew Callinan, and John Silvis, among others.  It was organized in conjunction with experimental designer Gail Travis, as she launched her second line of modular clothing.  A variety of contemporary strategies through which the human body is represented and reconsidered were explored by the artists in this show.  The original press release can be found here.

    FINGERPAINT @ DIA: CHELSEA - May 28th, 2008

This event featured 25 mostly emerging artists primarily from NYC, Los Angeles, and Long Island.  We co-presented this event with our friends at LOLA . There was a silent auction, the proceeds of which went to the Make It Right Foundation.  There was a write-up in BlackBook and some other books.
